{ Erika & T.J.: Engagement! }

Erika and T.J. are awesome! I cannot wait until their wedding this September at Spindletop in Lexington and also to work with the spectacular Jackie Lee from Every Last Detail Professional Wedding and Event Consulting again. Here are some of my favorite pictures from their engagement session... (Hair and makeup by the amazing Miss Ana Crane-Simpson!)

So we had to include Tanner (Erika and T.J.'s ridiculously adorable golden retriever) in the engagement photos. He is the sweetest most lovely-dovey pouch in the world! It was nice to have him in the studio for the evening. I think it was even more of a treat for me than it was for him! :)

Erika had the cutest idea at the end of their session to "cover T.J.'s face in kisses"! I thought it was adorable and here is how the pic turned out...

{ Grace Ann + Matthew Wed Post 2 of 2 by Amy! }

Post 2 of 2 of Grace Ann and Matthew's wedding in Nashville. Their reception was at a neat venue called the Loveless Barn. A perfect spot for a casual summer Nashville wedding.

I loved some of the details:

There were a few high tables outside with some old church pews. Guests could pour a glass of lemonade in a old Mason jar.

Love the brown and blue ribbon labels on everything=

A family friend made all of the desserts for the dessert buffet-

Family style meals- such a cute southern element to incorporate into your wedding reception! For northerners who read our blog, the rounded dish is corn pudding ;)

Guests loved sharing in the experience of family style meals.

BB KIng Allstars were the band

Matthew and his mother for their dance did the classic Blues Brothers dance of "Shake Your Tailfeather".

Then the whole bridal party joined in-

They also had a photobooth-

You may remember Grace Ann and Matthew's cute engagement session I posted last fall or more recently Grace Ann's beautiful bridal session both photographed in Nashville. I was so excited to photograph their wedding because they are both wonderful people to be around and I knew they would have a fabulous wedding. The ceremony was held at Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville.

All the girls had vintage handkerchiefs to carry with their flowers-

Her something blue-

Grace Ann's cowboy boots she changed into after the ceremony

Bridesmaids had elegant Jenny Yoo dresses

Grace Ann filled with emotions-

Grace Ann and Matthew gave all the bridesmaids cowboy boots and all the guys custom Chuck Taylors. After the ceremony they all changed.

One of my favorite photos from the day just because it makes me smile! These were the ceremony greeters. I love how they played to the camera! Makes a person feel like they were there!

Maggie's grandfather was one of the officiants of the wedding. I love this quickly stolen moment.

{ MAGGIE & BENTON: WEDDING: BY ANGELA }

Benton and Maggie were married at Maggie's family Farm, Foxhollow Farms, out toward Crestwood. The farm is an absolutely breathtaking backdrop, at once bucolic and also home to some beautiful high art displays. It is terribly hard not to absolutely fall in love with it. Foxhollow is a big proponent of the Slow Food Movement as are Benton and Maggie themselves. Foxhollow offers a CSA and some wonderful options for eating locally and healthy!

The wedding was planned by the absolutely inimitable Hollis Starks and Company. Hollis is a firecracker, a seriously amazing presence. She did such a fantastic job.

We started our coverage at Maggie's house out at the farm. Our AAP favorite Ana Crane-Simpson was on hand for making the ladies dolled up. ;)

Then we moved on to the church to finish getting ready

The floral decor was done by Andrea at Boston's Floral Couture.

Emotions ran high from time to time.

I love this picture of Maggie and her father. Like father, like daughter. So cute!

Maggie's grandmother's purse.

And a handkerchief stowed away inside from the same.

The dress was absolutely remarkable

As were the shoes!

The bridesmaids jewelry was made by one of Maggie's friends and extremely talented designer, Summer Eliason.
