Where to start?! I absolutely adore Megan. We've done many weddings together. ;) She was a bridesmaid in Andrea Blair's wedding and Heather Duff's - two ladies who are inimitable in their own right. And Megan left an indelible impression on me back over three years ago at Andrea's wedding so when I was reunited with her at Heather's wedding I was excited to see her again. Megan has an infectious energy and charisma. I knew when she IM'ed me on facebook that she was getting married that it was going to be fabulous! She contacted me even before she knew her date or where the wedding would be. Knowing that I was such an important part of her planning made me feel very honored. And then when she decided to have the wedding in Naples, Florida I began counting down the months along with her! Naples is absolutely gorgeous and the Ritz Carlton Beach resort where they were married was beautiful, see below!

Megan's dress was a gorgeous spin on a beach wedding dress. It was flowy but fitted and had amazing pleating all down it. And the neckline was so thin and feminine - it was one of my favorite dresses I have seen.

Megan used the beachy theme in her decor and the little touches were lovely.

Below are the vows that Megan and Aaron exchanged. Very sweet! And with them is a beautiful locket where a photograph of Megan's late father was put. My favorite part is "loving what I know of you, trusting what I do not know yet". This is so profound as we always change and grow in life and to be able to share and grow together is the ideal marriage.

And of course -- the shoes! Or shall I say fabulous DVF sandals. I thought these were such a fun concept.

All the ladies involved with the wedding were truly great to hang out with. Below is Emily Lark, who works at Voce Salon in Lexington. she flew down to Naples to be a part of the event and she did such a beautiful job on Megan's hair. Also in the photo is one of Megan's bridesmaids Sarah. This moment happened while they were discussing when Megan first started dating Aaron and when each of them knew that he was the one for Megan. Sarah said "I knew when I loved him (Aaron), it was when he loved my dog (Sophia)." As a dog owner I totally comprehend that importance. ;)

And now on to the gentleman. Plan on seeing a lot of skin in photos from this wedding as it was quite hot and the menfolk rebelled against clothing much of the time.

I love this photo that Meggie captured of the guys in their natural state (see what I mean about clothing optional) because in the next photo you see them all cleaned up and ready. It's a little bit like a before and after.

Megan's flowers were really beautiful but also fun with many feathers placed around the lilies. And the wrap you see below - wow way to add some extra glam!
So after the dress was put on the emotions came out quickly! Anne and Andrea below tearing up. So sweet.

And Heather as well. (owner of the fabulous
Mod Boutique in Lexington!)

More to come later today!
