Post 2 of 2 of Misty and Crockett's wedding at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington. Wedding planning by Alicia DeBoor of Great Expectations. Notice at the end of the reception, Misty and Crockett changed - Crockett in his classic cowboy attire and Misty in her adorable party dress.

They had a candy buffet and only fitting to show off delicious KY bourbon balls for her guests to take home-

I thought it was cute the little bags had little pink clothes pins.

My assistant Kristen heard that the grooms cake was really neat. But she couldn't find it- because it looked so real!! Yes this is the grooms cake. Pretty cool. So Crockett. Amazing cakes by Martines!

Post one of two of Misty and Crockett's wedding at Kenneland Race Course. I just love Misty! She is so sweet. You may remember her from her bridals that I posted last week. Ana Crane Simpson did an amazing job on Misty's hair and makeup. She looked like a classic southern belle. Crockett is your classic cowboy and couldn't wait to put on his blue jeans and cowboy hat at the end of the reception (see post 2).

{ Christy & Kevin: Wedding Post #2! }

Post 2 of Christy and Kevin's picturesque spring wedding. Their ceremony and reception were both held at the splendid Berry Hill Mansion in Frankfort, Kentucky. I love the moment of silliness caught in the picture below of Kevin and his best man...

Christy's hair and makeup by the distinguished Ana Crane-Simpson! The photo below is of Christy's mother, Christy, and Christy's grandmother...

I just couldn't resist! If you remember Christy and Kevin's engagement session back in November they pulled a "funny face" that I posted on the blog that really captured their sweet playfulness that they have with each other. At the wedding I had them do a double-take and had to share it... :)

Love the portrait below of Christy...

Christy and Kevin hand-painted all of the vases they used as their centerpieces together. I thought it was such an awesome way to add a personal touch to the decor of their wedding and for their guests to take home as gifts...

Christy and Kevin both worked together at the "Great Escapes Theatres" together when they were younger. I thought it was so cute and funny that they had their old name tags laying out on their guest table. I thought that they would appreciate the photo below of the ring shot by the name tags...

You may remember Lisa and TR engagement photos I did in Cincinnati last fall. Lisa is a hair stylist in Cincinnati and it just stunningly beautiful! It's a cute story of how they met. They were high school sweethearts - Lisa went to an all girls school and TR the all boys school in the area. Turns out their families live just a few minutes away from each other. They were married at St Agnes Church across the river from Cincinnati and reception was at Drees Pavilion. Post 2 will be soon-

{ Christy & Kevin: Wedding Post #1! }

Christy and Kevin are so stinkin' awesome! I seriously adore them! They got married the last weekend in May in Frankfort, Kentucky at the Berry Hill Mansion. It was different and fun because their ceremony took place in the morning. It was a sunny and beautiful day that created a perfect backdrop for their fairy tale wedding. The shots below of Christy getting ready were taken at the Capital Plaza Hotel...

All of Christy's jewelry she wore that day (except for her engagement ring (above) and another ring she wore of her grandmother's) was the same jewelry that she wore when her and Kevin went to prom together in high school. The earrings below were part of that set...

Christy's sensational hair and makeup were created by the always remarkable Ana Crane-Simpson! Check out the oh-so-glamorous birdcage veil...LOVE IT!!!

Christy looked absolutely precious in her gorgeous gown she got from Sher's in Louisville that I truly loved. P.S.: Kevin looked very handsome as well. :)

Below is a picture of Christy's little brother seeing his big sister for the last time before the wedding as he went to take his place in the ceremony...tear...

The photo below is of Kevin's mom coming to visit Christy before the wedding. You can tell that their families are very close and that it was a very happy day for everyone...

I loved the fact that Christy's dad hugged both Christy and Kevin after giving his daughter away...

Shortly after the ceremony began their long-time pastor read letters that Christy and Kevin wrote to one another for the ceremony. There were tears...

With laughter luckily following...

Instead of a unity candle, Christy and Kevin chose to partake in the Cord of Three Strands Ceremony...
