Lauren and Jeremy are both from Lexington and moved to North Carolina about the same time and actually worked in the same building but they didn't know each other. A friend said they should meet up because they are both from Lexington and the rest is history..

This is the spot where Jeremy proposed to Lauren :) They were at Keeneland tailgating and he took her to a breakfast table he had set up on the lawn . . .

{ Sarah & Joe: Wedding Blog! }

Sarah and Joe got married on October 17th at St. Denis Catholic Church and had their reception at the magnificent Audubon Country Club. Every aspect of the wedding had their own personal touches on it from the invitations to Sarah's bridal jewelry. Sarah's grandmother, Ada, even made the quilt that was placed on the altar during the ceremony. The day was very much focused on family and friends which made for such a fun and laid back wedding. I had a blast!

Sarah's mom made Sarah and all of the bridesmaid's jewelry. Photo below by Amy Campbell.

White pumpkins and acorns were the theme for wedding. Sarah told me the reason for the acorns were to symbolize the beginning of something great. I thought that was so sweet.

I absolutely loved the antique tint of the bouquet of roses Sarah had.

Joe is a graphic designer and made all of the printed material for the wedding. Below is their invitation...

I love this moment Amy caught of Sarah's dad giving her away to Joe.

Sarah and Joe left the ceremony in a cab in remembrance of the years they lived together in Chicago.

A laptop was set up as a photo booth with a twist. It was hilarious to watch the guest come up and get a distorted picture of their face projected on a big screen. When Sarah and Joe got back from their honeymoon they released the photos online. How much fun! (It made for some entertaining pictures!)

The newlyweds were cutting a rug for their first dance...

Below is a photo of Sarah's dad getting a little choked up during the father/daughter dance. It seriously made me tear up too!

The pin below was Sarah's grandmothers and was fastened to her garter as her "something blue".

CHEERS!

Cards were another big theme of the wedding. They were given out as part of the favors.

Joe's an avid golf fan and wanted me to shoot him teeing off...

The band they had was the Robbie Bartlett Band. She was awesome!!

Blair and her friends have done this before- during the song "I will survive" they all "lay down and die..." The whole dance floor on the ground :)

Grace Ann and Matthew will be married in Nashville next June. They both grew up in Nashville and had so many sentimental places picked out for their engagement session. The first is where they met: University School. It is located right across from Vanderbilt campus and they used to eat lunch together on the edge of the campus. So cute :)

Grace Ann and Matthew are so sweet and I am thrilled to have them as clients!

Blair and Tony got married at the beautiful Elmendorf Farm in Lexington, KY. Their ceremony was atop a hill at Elmendorf on steps with columns that were left from an old mansion that was torn down. It was such an amazing backdrop for a ceremony. Just gorgeous!

Blair and Tony are awesome! The reception was rockin! I'll post those photos in 'post 2'.

{ Kelly + Carl Wedding by Amy! }

Kelly and Carl were married at Talon Winery in Lexington, Ky. They live in Los Angeles, CA and Kelly works with a website company while Carl is pursuing a fine art degree. I knew such a creative couple had to be one of ours when Kelly first contacted me ;) The barn was even decorated with Carl's paintings. Talon is such a beautiful place and the ceremony was going to be outside in the vineyards, but due to rain it was moved inside the barn. Fortunately for us the rain held off a few minutes after the ceremony for some couple photos of Kelly and Carl. The rain saturated the colors of the vines and grass and gave a unique feel to the outdoor photos.
