{ Megan & Cole: Wedding Post #2! }

Post 2 of Megan and Cole's enchanted summer wedding. Their reception was held at the mesmerizing Embassy Suites in Lexington, Kentucky. Megan's charming wedding gown is from The Bride's Boutique in Clarksville, Tennessee...

Megan and Cole had placed a picture from their engagement session I shot in May at their guest table along with their place cards. I thought that it was really cool that they designed all of the printed material themselves. Including the absolutely delightful invitation they sent to me at the AAP studio!

How cool is this?!? Instead of a guestbook, Megan and Cole had a "Wedding Tree" where all of their guests dabbed ink onto their finger and placed their finger on a limb of the tree to create a "leaf" and then signed their name. I'm sure it is something that they will treasure forever... :)

The couple had a slideshow play directly after their grand entrance. It became emotional at times...

Megan and Cole's exquisite wedding cake came from Gourmet Goodies in Nicholasville, Kentucky...

I stole Megan and Cole away from the party for a few moments for a couple of cool nighttime shots around the hotel...

Cole was so excited to be getting married, Megan's tag line for him for the day was, "No, you stop it!" They are so playfully cute together! :)

{ Megan & Cole: Wedding Post #1! }

I feel like I had been waiting ages to shoot Megan and Cole's wedding. When I first met them I fell in love. It really has been such an honor to share the last almost half a year with them planning and getting ready for the big day. They are so sweet and I just knew that their wedding was going to be ravishing! I was not disappointed. The next several pictures are of some of the gorgeous accessories Megan wore on her and Cole's wedding day... (Lucy Lunsford was my second photographer for the day :)

Now don't be jealous all of the brides-to-be but Cole was very involved in the wedding planning. He even picked out and bought Megan her wedding day shoes! Don't you just love the cute pink hearts on the inside!

Another gift to Megan from Cole...

Megan's dazzling wedding gown came from The Bride's Boutique in Clarksville, Tennessee...

The bridal party got ready at the impressive Embassy Suites in Lexington, Kentucky which is also where Megan and Cole's reception was held which will be on a later post... :)

IT'S ME!

As I'm sure you've already guessed, the picture below is of Cole and the groomsmen's suite. And yes, that is a tree full of beer...

Megan and Cole got married at the terrific Nicholasville Presbyterian Church in Nicholasville, Kentucky...

I LOVED all of the candles Megan and Cole scattered around the church. It made for such a romantic ambiance...

Megan's flowers in her bouquet were astonishing and check out the cute way she added some sparkle to glam it up...

Megan's Papa was the first person I met when I got to the rehearsal the night before and he did not hesitate to come right up to me and strike up a conversation. He is absolutely adorable and it's definitely obvious where Megan gets her southern charm... :)

Before I share the photos from Megan and Cole's gorgeous wedding earlier this month, here are a few photos from their super fun rehearsal dinner at Sal's in Lexington, Kentucky...

The adorable flower girl helped hand out the bridesmaids gifts...

The groomsmen received leather belts with their names on them...

Earlier in the day there were a few scared faces when the rain started coming down but when I stepped outside to leave the restaurant I saw the most beautiful rainbow and just had to get my camera back out and capture it before I left...

Post 2 from Brooke and Matt's wedding in Youngstown, OH. Their reception was held at the Davis Center in Mill Creek Park.

It is tradition in Youngstown to have a cookie buffet at your wedding. It started years ago when guests would bring their favorite cookies to the reception. What a great idea! Now they have cookie buffet catering companies.

All the reception tables had edible fruit arrangements.

Notice how their cake matches Brooke's dress. . .

Brooke and Matt's wedding was in Youngstown, OH, which is a few hours north of Columbus. Brooke loves art and teaches art classes too. When a friend referred her to our site, she had to have us capture her wedding! Their ceremony was at Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville, OH and reception was at the Davis Center in Mill Creek Park in Youngtown.

I love it when I have time in between the ceremony and reception to go to different locations. Here we stopped at an ice cream shop :)

{ MAGGIE & BENTON: WEDDING POST 4: ANGELA }

The final post on Maggie & Benton's gorgeous wedding day! The reception, which was absolutely fantastic, everyone danced well into the night!

I love Maggie & Benton's reaction to being announced for their first dance!

And it was super cute!

I also loved this moment right before Maggie and her dad started their dance. He is giving a thumbs up to someone in the crowd, obviously referencing how proud he is to be Maggie's father!

{ MAGGIE & BENTON: WEDDING POST 3: ANGELA }

It was a warm day but absolutely beautiful. After the ceremony Maggie and Benton jumped on the back of an antique firetruck (Benton is a volunteer fireman) from St. Matthews and rode in to greet their guests as the cocktail hour. We grabbed a few photographs in the short time we had between ceremony and reception.

Andrea, with Boston's Floral Couture did the incredible florals for the event. I loved this set up for the placecards!

A lovely Southern Kentucky wedding has a cherry on top if there is Bluegrass band playing at some point. ;-)

A bagpiper played as Maggie and Benton arrived.

An artist was commissioned to paint the tent, an idea I was very enamored with!

Love the little tractor. (there will be another tractor in the next post. ;-))

Incredible hand made plates!

And the hand made unique chairs were so wonderful. And I love the little heart made from lights above!

Andrea's floral really set off the candelabras!

The food was quite special at this wedding. Commissioned by Slow Foods Bluegrass. They used the beef from the Farm which I thought was a lovely touch.
