{ Kristian & Zac: Wedding Post #1! }

I simply adore Kristian and Zac! I had such an amazing time at their wedding in late July because it felt so personal and all of their family and friends were so nice and welcoming. Kristian and Zac got married at Kristian's late grandmother's church in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Her and her Nana were very close and it was very important to Kristian to have many touches of her grandmother everywhere on their big day such as the lace and brooch from her bouquet and even wearing her Nana's engagement ring. Kristian and Zac had a lot of little vintage touches throughout their wedding and reception but one of the most prominent symbols I found that day was of two birds together so I thought that this ring shot below would be appropriate... (Kristian's hair by Ana Crane-Simpson and makeup by Sara Drury)

Kristian got ready at her aunt and uncle's home who own the Jon-Beck Salon in Lexington, Kentucky. Wow, I did not have to look far to photograph interesting details shots...

A gift from Zac to Kristian on their wedding day...

Kristian's mesmerizing wedding gown was from Ruth's bridal in Lexington, Kentucky...

Kristian and Zac are huge U of K fans...

Kristian shot a Dreaming in the Dark session with me and created a pillowbook for Zac to open as a wedding day gift...

Kristian's alluring bouquet by Stem's in Lexington, Kentucky. I love orchids but the detail in the green flower is just stunning...

The bridemaids' bouquets had these little yellow balls in them that I just loved...

Kristian and Zac did not want to see each other before the ceremony but wanted a couple of quick shots taken between a door before Zac went to take his spot at the head of the church to wait for his beautiful bride...

Kristian and Zac got married at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Nicholasville, Kentucky...

Townley and Lisle's wedding was held at the magnificent Spindletop Hall in Lexington. I just love going to Spindletop because of its timeless beauty. All the rooms are gorgeous. Their ceremony was on the back lawn. Unfortunately it rained during the entire ceremony, but it did not dampen any of the joy for Townley and Lisle! They are such a wonderful couple. You will see in post 2 the guests had fabulous time at the reception-

All the guys had different socks or no socks in Lisle's case :)

Their two dogs were part of the ceremony. Her sister brought in one and the groomsman brought in the other one.

And the rain came down . . .

In between the ceremony and reception, Ana changed up Lindsey's hair and makeup and she added black beaded accessories!

You may remember Lindsey's beautiful bridal session I posted last week or their engagement session this spring. Lindsey and Skyler are just a really sweet couple and I enjoyed being a part of their wedding! They had their ceremony and reception at the classic Griffin Gate Marriot Resort and Spa in Lexington.

For her last look, Lindsey brought some black accessories for something different. She liked it so much in the bridal session that she decided to wear them for her reception.
