Melissa is such a fabulous gal! You may remember Melissa and Victor's engagement session I did in Nashville in May. Their reception was held at Lexington Downtown Hotel, which used to be The Radisson. Melissa has been in the wedding coordinator business for years and used to work at the Radisson. I would agree with Laura's toast at the reception- Melissa is someone you want to be around and Victor and her make a great pair. You may remember we photographed Laura's wedding last year and she is the current wedding coordinator at the Lexington Downtown Hotel. The ceremony was held at Maxwell Street Presbyterian.

Makeup was done by Ana Crane-Simpson.

So...finally...to the story of Andrea and Matt. Andrea and Matt are both from Knoxville, Tennessee although both reside in Lexington and have for some time. They knew each other when they were younger and happened upon each other in the past few years again and absolutely fell in love. And these two are awesome together. Andrea is not only so beautiful but she also has an amazing aura. She has to be one of the sweetest people alive, always funny, always laughing, always just absolutely endearing. And thoughtful! I remember when she called me up to tell me what hotel I would be staying in and she made sure to note -- "It has a starbucks!" Which of course tickled me -- obviously she knows I don't get far without my iced mochas in the morning. And then to beat all she gives me a starbucks gift card when I come to  the rehearsal -- again, so thoughtful. It's not like you couldn't love this girl!

And then Matt. Matt is so utterly awesome. He is gorgeous -- duh -- and he and Andrea look like Barbie & Ken together (the Tenneessee version thank you! ;)). But is he sweet! S thoughtful, so light-hearted. I mean you could not help but just swoon a little bit when they enter a room together. They are so in love. I feel so lucky to know both of them and to be the photographer to capture such an amazing family and couple!

And I have to say one more thing -- awesome bridal party! I adored the girls! I am so glad I got to be a part of their slumber party (Check post #1, further down the blog). They are so awesome. Thanks girls!! Shout out to the Angelas, Brooke & Makenzie!

Jade has gorgeous red hair and that complimented our gold wallpaper beautifully for her Dreaming in the Dark session.

Heather and Greg's wedding was classic Kentucky beauty. Heather is such a sweet southern spirit and Greg is an all American man at heart. Together you could feel their sincerity and love for each in their photos. Their ceremony and reception was held at Keeneland in Lexington, KY. Keeneland is such a Lexington icon with a beautiful landscape for a wedding.

The flowers were by Deanna and the wedding coordination was by Alicia from Great Expectations. Heather's hair and makeup was done by Ana Crane-Simpson.

Nenna is getting married on the 4th of July -coming up in a few days. Nenna requested some photos on a dock at sunset for a soft natural look and then we glamed it up for the studio. Nenna is so amazingly beautiful!
